Standing figure of the caliph in a dotted center, facing and wearing a long elaborate robe; ‘šwš’, i.e. ‘Shush’ in Pahlavi to the left; ‘lwb’k’, i.e. ‘rawāg’ (‘current’ in Pahlavi) to the right. Rev. ‘bism Allāh / sana ithnatayn / wa thamānīn’ (‘In the name of Allah. [In] the year 82’ in Arabic). Album 47A. Extremely rare. Some weakness and earthen deposits, otherwise, very fine.
